How a day works

The office assigns the day
Jobs are given to technicians, or allocated across the team in one go.

The technician starts the day
Tapping Start the day marks attendance. ServiTrail explains first that the route between jobs will be recorded, and asks for location permission.

Each visit, photographed
Arrive, before photo, the work, after photo, finish. The times are recorded on the job.

The day ends, recording stops
End the day and route recording stops. The office has the day: jobs, times, route and photographs.

Trouble signing in or a question about your jobs? Your office administrator can usually help first, since they manage your account. For anything else, write to us; we reply within two working days.

Tell us your phone model, whether you are a technician or a manager, and what you were doing when it went wrong.

How do I get an account?

Your employer adds you. ServiTrail does not create accounts from the app: sign in with the email or phone your office registered, or with Google or Apple on that same email. If you cannot sign in, ask your office administrator.

When is my location recorded?

Only while your working day is open: from when you tap Start the day until you tap End the day. Your phone shows that it is recording. See the worker notice for exactly what is recorded and who sees it.

I am a manager. Where do I allocate jobs?

Sign in with your service-manager account. Today shows the day; Assign a job or Allocate the work hands jobs out; Map shows the team; People shows each technician.

How do I delete my data?

In the app: Profile, then Delete my account. Or follow the data deletion page. Your employer may need to keep some records, such as attendance and pay, for as long as the law requires; the page explains which.

Is there a web version?

Yes. The same accounts work in a browser at slimiot.com/service, which is easier for the office for long lists and reports.
