What it measures
The baby's heart rate through every nap and every night, with the trend in the app and an alert when it leaves the range you set.
Breaths per minute, breath by breath. A pause or a rate outside the normal band raises an alert straight away.
Skin temperature trend, so a fever building up overnight or a baby getting too warm under a blanket is noticed early.
The position sensor knows when the baby turns onto the tummy or side and alerts you, so you can turn the baby back onto the back.
How the alerts work
Every alert goes to the DozeBaby app over Wi-Fi and the cloud, so a parent at work, a grandparent in another city or a caretaker at home all see it at the same moment, with the live readings behind it.
The bedside unit sounds a loud alarm in the room the moment something needs attention, whether or not a phone is nearby or the internet is up. Whoever is looking after the baby hears it first.
Alerts fire when heart rate or breathing leaves the range set for the baby, when breathing pauses, when the temperature climbs past the threshold, when the baby rolls onto the tummy or side, or when there has been no movement for too long. Ranges and thresholds are adjustable in the app.

Yes. Alerts go over Wi-Fi to the cloud and to every phone linked to the baby, wherever those phones are. The sound alarm on the bedside unit works even if the internet is down.
A small clip on the nappy or vest: two flat casings joined by a flexible band. The smaller casing rests against the baby with its sensors, the larger sits outside the clothing. There are no straps around the chest or the leg.
Yes. Link as many phones as you like to the baby. Everyone sees the same alert and the same live readings.
Yes. Heart-rate and breathing ranges, the temperature threshold and the rollover alert can each be adjusted in the app. Your paediatrician can suggest ranges for your baby.
