DozeBaby Terms of Use

Last updated: 4 October 2026

1. These terms

These terms are between you and Slimiot Technologies Private Limited, India ("Slimiot", "we"), and cover the DozeBaby clip, bedside unit, app and cloud service. By setting up or using DozeBaby you accept them. The DozeBaby Privacy Policy explains how data is handled.

2. Not a medical device

DozeBaby is a wellness monitor. It measures heart rate, breathing, temperature and position and raises alerts. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition, including sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), and it is not a substitute for a doctor, for safe-sleep practice, or for an adult looking after the baby.

Always put the baby to sleep on the back, on a firm flat surface, with nothing loose in the cot. If you are worried about your baby's health, contact a doctor or emergency services; do not wait for an alert.

3. Alerts can be missed or delayed

Phone alerts depend on the bedside unit having power and Wi-Fi, on the internet and our servers, and on the phone being on, connected and allowing notifications. The bedside alarm depends on the unit having power and on the clip being charged, worn correctly and within range. False alerts and missed events can happen. Do not rely on DozeBaby as the only way of knowing that your baby needs you.

4. Your responsibilities

  • Fit the clip as shown in the instructions, check it before each sleep, and keep it charged.
  • Keep the bedside unit powered and within hearing distance of a caretaker.
  • Keep the app's notifications on for the phones that should receive alerts, and test the alarm and alerts from time to time.
  • Stop using the clip and contact us if it is damaged, overheats or irritates the baby's skin. Keep small parts and charging cables out of the baby's reach.
  • Only set up DozeBaby for a baby you are the parent or guardian of, or have their permission to monitor.
  • Keep your sign-in details private.

5. The service

Basic monitoring is free. Nursery dashboards are priced by the number of cots, as agreed when you sign up. We may improve, change or update the app, the firmware and the service, and will tell you in advance of any change that removes a feature you rely on.

6. Warranty

The hardware warranty is set out in the documents that came with your purchase. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other law that cannot be excluded.

7. Liability

To the extent the law allows, Slimiot is not liable for any loss arising from an alert that was missed, delayed or false, from a decision made on the basis of a reading, or from the service being unavailable, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the product. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

8. Ending use

You can stop using DozeBaby and delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account that is used to monitor someone without permission, or that misuses the service, after telling you why where we can.

9. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first; if a dispute is not resolved within 30 days, the courts at the registered office of Slimiot Technologies Private Limited have jurisdiction.

10. Changes and contact

We will tell you in the app before any change to these terms takes effect. Questions: info@slimiot.com.
