DozeBaby Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

DozeBaby is made by Slimiot Technologies Private Limited, India ("Slimiot", "we"). This policy covers the DozeBaby clip, the bedside unit, the DozeBaby app for Android and iOS, and the cloud service behind them. For any other Slimiot product, see the main Slimiot privacy policy.

The parent or guardian who sets up DozeBaby is the account holder. A baby cannot have an account; everything about the baby is entered and controlled by the account holder.

2. What we collect

• Your account: your name, email address and, if you add one, your photo; your password, stored only as a secure hash, or the fact that you signed in with Google or Apple.
• Your baby's profile: name, date of birth, sex (or "prefer not to say"), weight, height and, if you add one, a photo; and the id of the device paired with the baby.
• Readings from the clip and bedside unit: heart rate, blood oxygen (SpO₂), respiration rate, skin temperature, room temperature, position and tilt, altitude, whether a cry or a fall was detected, and battery level, each with its time.
• Alerts: the notifications sent to you, whether you have read them, and the alert ranges and switches you set.
• Your phone: a push-notification token, so alerts can reach it.

3. What we use it for

• To show you the baby's live readings and history.
• To send alerts to your phone, and to sound the alarm on the bedside unit.
• To keep the devices working: pairing, firmware updates, battery and connection warnings, and fixing faults.
• To answer you when you contact support.

We do not use your or your baby's data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with data brokers. The app contains no advertising and does not track you across other apps or websites.

4. Your baby's data

Readings about a baby are sensitive. We collect them only because the account holder set DozeBaby up for that baby, and only to provide the monitoring described above. By setting up DozeBaby you confirm that you are the baby's parent or legal guardian, or have their permission.

DozeBaby is a wellness monitor, not a medical device. Its readings are not reviewed by doctors at Slimiot. If you export the history for your paediatrician, the export goes only where you send it.

5. Who can see it

• You, signed in to the app on your phones.
• Our service providers, only as needed to run the service: our cloud server, Google Firebase to deliver push notifications, and our email provider for account emails. They may not use the data for anything else.
• Authorities, only where Indian law requires it.

6. Where it is stored and how it is protected

The app talks to our servers over encrypted connections, and the data is stored on servers we control. Access inside Slimiot is limited to the people who run and support the service.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your account and your baby's history for as long as the account exists, so you can look back over it. When you delete the account, it is all deleted at once, as described on the Delete account page. Purchase and warranty records are kept as long as the law requires.

8. Your choices and rights

• See and export your baby's history in the app.
• Correct your details or the baby's profile in the app.
• Stop alerts to your phone at any time, in the app or in your phone's settings.
• Delete your account and all of your baby's data: see the Delete account page.
• Ask us what we hold about you, or raise a concern, by email. We reply within 30 days.

9. Phone permissions

The app asks for notifications, so alerts can reach you, and for Bluetooth, to set up the bedside unit. You can turn either off in your phone's settings; without notifications, alerts will not reach that phone, though the bedside alarm still sounds.

10. Changes

If we change what we collect or how we use it, we will update this page and tell you in the app before the change takes effect.
