1. Plug the USB-C cable into any 5 V USB charger or a computer.
2. The side LED is red while charging and green when full. About 2 hours from empty.
3. Left alone on charge, the screen shows the battery percentage.
You can keep using the stethoscope while it charges.
1. Wake: press the upper side button (SW1) once, or touch the screen.
2. Sleep: hold SW1 for 3 seconds. Sound stops, the screen goes off, the blue LED pulses slowly. Bluetooth stays reachable for the app.
3. The unit sleeps by itself after 10 minutes with no touch and no sound.
1. Wake the unit. The home screen shows the current mode word, for example Bell.
2. Put in the wired earphones or your paired earbuds.
3. Place the chestpiece. The sound is live with no delay you can notice.
Nothing on the screen moves while you listen, so nothing distracts.
Tap one of the three icons on the top arc, press SW1 once to cycle, or choose the mode in the app.
• BELL 40 to 150 Hz. Low-pitched sounds.
• DIA 90 to 1000 Hz. Breath sounds and higher-pitched sounds.
• EXTD 10 to 1200 Hz. The full range, closest to the raw chestpiece.
1. Drag your finger along the rim of the screen, clockwise to increase.
2. The ring fills one step every 34 degrees. There are 8 steps; the app shows the same range as 5 levels.
3. At the top the ring stops. It never jumps back to zero, so a long drag is safe.
The ring fades 1.5 seconds after you lift your finger.
• Mute: drag anticlockwise along the rim past step 1, press the lower side button (SW2) once, or tap mute in the app.
• Unmute: tap the centre of the screen, press SW2, drag clockwise, or tap mute again in the app. The previous level comes back.
The mode word stays on screen while muted so you know the filter has not changed.
Tap NC in the bottom bar of the device, or use the Noise reduction switch in the app. Extra microphones in the unit listen to the room and subtract it from the chestpiece sound.
Use it in a noisy ward or a moving vehicle. In a quiet room leave it off; very faint sounds come through cleaner without it.
Plug any 3.5 mm earphones into the jack. Wired output is always on while the plug is in.
1. Tap the headphone icon in the bottom bar to open Output, or use the Output section in the app.
2. Bluetooth ON sends the sound to LE Audio earbuds as well as the wired output. OFF saves battery on long shifts.
3. Auracast only turns the wired output off and broadcasts to any Auracast receiver nearby.
1. Put your earbuds into their pairing mode.
2. Open Output and tap Pair new earbuds (or Pair earbuds in the app). The unit is visible for 60 seconds.
3. Choose Stethopod on the earbuds if they ask.
Earbuds must support Bluetooth LE Audio. Auracast earbuds can also join the broadcast without pairing.
1. Switch on Bluetooth on the phone and wake the Stethopod.
2. In the app tap Connect Stethopod. The Devices tab scans and lists your unit; tap Connect.
3. The Stethoscope tab shows the live sound, mode, volume, output and noise-reduction controls, and the battery level.
Changes made on the device screen appear in the app and the other way round.
1. With the sound running, tap GO LIVE. The app shows a 6-digit code.
2. Tell the code to the other person, or invite a saved contact by their Stethopod ID.
3. On their phone they open Listen Remotely and enter the code.
4. Tap STOP SHARING when done. The live sound is relayed in real time and is not stored on our servers.
1. Tap the dot (REC) in the bottom bar. The dot and the timer turn red.
2. Tap REC again; the screen asks for the patient name or number. Only the room microphone records, for up to 10 seconds.
3. The screen shows Saved with the entry number.
Hold REC to discard. Clips are stored on the device as numbered WAV files.
1. With the sound running on the Stethoscope tab, tap REC. Tap again for the voice note, and again to save.
2. Open Recordings on the home screen to play, share or delete entries. They stay on the phone; nothing is uploaded by us.
1. Swipe up from the home screen to open Display.
2. Drag along the rim for brightness, in 5 steps, or tap Dark / Light for the theme. The same settings are in the app under Device screen.
After 20 seconds without a touch the backlight drops to the lowest step; after 60 seconds more the screen turns off. Any touch brings it back.
The small battery under the mode word shows the charge; a bolt next to it means charging.
An amber triangle means something needs you: chestpiece cable not detected, battery at 10 %, or device storage full. Tap to dismiss.
• SW1 (upper), press: wake the screen; when awake, cycle DIA, BELL, EXTD.
• SW1, hold 3 s: sleep.
• SW2 (lower), press: mute or unmute.
• SW2, hold about 15 s: hardware restart. Use only if the screen is frozen.
• Wipe the chestpiece and the housing with a cloth dampened with 70 % isopropyl alcohol between patients.
• Clean the glass with a soft dry cloth. No abrasive pads.
• Do not immerse, autoclave or spray liquid into the jack or the USB-C port.
• Store between 0 and 40 °C. Charge at least every 3 months if unused.
1. In the app open Profile and tap Delete account and data.
2. Confirm. Your account, profile, contacts, invitations and notification token are removed from our servers within 7 days, and the app signs out.
3. Recordings on the phone or on the device are yours and are not touched.

• No sound: check the mute icon, raise the volume, push the earphone plug fully in, check the chestpiece cable.
• Earbuds will not pair: they must support LE Audio; put them in pairing mode first, then tap Pair within 60 s.
• App cannot find the unit: wake the unit, keep the phone within 2 m, check Bluetooth is on.
• Screen frozen: hold SW2 for about 15 s to restart.
• Sound thin or hissy: switch noise reduction off, choose Extended, then narrow down to Bell or Diaphragm.
Stethopod is an electronic stethoscope that amplifies, filters, records and relays body sounds for trained healthcare professionals.
The device and the app present sound. They do not analyse or interpret it and do not make or suggest any diagnosis. Clinical judgement and decisions remain with the professional.
Keep listening volume moderate. Do not use the device on damaged skin.
