Slimtrack Terms of Use

1. These terms

These terms are between you and Slimiot Technologies Private Limited, India ("Slimiot", "we"), and cover the Slimtrack tracker, app and cloud service. By setting up or using Slimtrack you accept them. The Slimtrack Privacy Policy explains how data is handled.

2. Lawful use

Use Slimtrack only to track things you own or are responsible for. Do not use it to track a person without their knowledge and consent, or in any way that breaks the law where you use it.

3. Positions and alerts can be wrong or late

A tracker's position depends on GPS reception, and its readings reach you only when it has power and a mobile connection, when our servers and the internet are available, and when your phone is on, connected and allowing notifications. Positions can be inaccurate, especially indoors, and alerts can be missed, delayed or false. Do not rely on Slimtrack as the only safeguard for anything valuable, perishable or dangerous.

4. Your responsibilities

• Keep the tracker charged and fitted as described in its instructions.
• Keep the app's notifications on for the phones that should receive alerts, and check your geofences and alert limits from time to time.
• Keep your sign-in details private.
• Stop using the tracker and contact us if it is damaged, swells or overheats.

5. The service

The app is free to use with a Slimtrack tracker. Mobile data for the tracker is provided as agreed when you buy it. We may improve, change or update the app, the firmware and the service, and will tell you in advance of any change that removes a feature you rely on.

6. Warranty

The hardware warranty is set out in the documents that came with your purchase. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other law that cannot be excluded.

7. Liability

To the extent the law allows, Slimiot is not liable for any loss arising from a position or reading that was wrong, from an alert that was missed, delayed or false, or from the service being unavailable, including loss or spoilage of the things tracked, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the product. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Ending use

You can stop using Slimtrack and delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account that is used to track someone without their consent, or that misuses the service, after telling you why where we can.

9. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first; if a dispute is not resolved within 30 days, the courts at the registered office of Slimiot Technologies Private Limited have jurisdiction.

10. Changes and contact
